WealthForge is designed from the ground up to be privacy-first:
All financial data you enter into WealthForge is stored locally on your device using the app's local WebView storage, with a native on-device mirror for durable purchase state. We have no ability to access, view, or recover your financial records.
WealthForge provides export features (CSV, PDF, JSON backup) so you can save your data to files you control. These exports are generated entirely on your device and are not sent to any server.
WealthForge is a paid app available as a one-time purchase. Payment processing and purchase restoration are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through their native store systems.

If you choose to search for or refresh a stock or cryptocurrency price, the app sends only the ticker, asset identifier, or search text needed for that request to Yahoo Finance or CoinGecko. WealthForge does not send your holdings, balances, transactions, name, or contact information with those requests. These optional services are subject to their own privacy policies.
The WealthForge website and Guides may use Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or similar technologies on website pages in accordance with Google's policies. This website activity is separate from the WealthForge app; the app contains no advertising or analytics.
WealthForge includes optional PIN lock and biometric authentication (fingerprint/Face ID) to protect access to the app. These security features are processed entirely on your device using your device's built-in security hardware. We never receive your PIN or biometric data.
WealthForge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no data at all, this concern is moot by design.
Your financial records remain under your control on your device. Rights or obligations related to Apple, Google, Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, or Google AdSense are governed by those providers' policies and applicable law.
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top and notify users through an app update. Any changes that would involve data collection will require explicit user consent.
You have full control over the financial data stored by WealthForge. You can export it, replace it from a backup, or delete it from your device. Requests about store or website-provider data should be directed to the applicable provider.
